What is a pool?
A pool is an invite-only group of families coordinating rides for a set of children and schools. Pool members can share schedules, claim open rides, and keep up with changes.
What is the difference between a household and a pool?
Your household is where your family's guardians and children are managed. A pool connects your household with other trusted families for shared ride coordination.
What happens when the usual plan changes?
You can edit one ride, add a one-time ride, reassign a driver, or release a ride for someone else to claim without changing the recurring schedule.
Who can see my family's ride details?
Only adults invited into the pool can see its children, schedules, and rides. Each family controls its household, while the pool shares only what the group needs to coordinate.
Does KidPool track drivers?
KidPool does not store a continuous route history. Adults can optionally enable hands-free updates for assigned from-location rides; location detection is time-bounded and handled on the device.
Where can I use KidPool?
KidPool has native apps for iOS and Android, plus the web app, so every adult in the pool can stay in sync.
