Invite-only pools
Pools are invite-only. Only adults accepted into a pool can see its children, schedules, and ride details.
Shared visibility
Every adult in the pool works from the same ride plan, including driver assignments, status changes, and drop-offs.
Updates you control
Choose the claim, assignment, start, completion, and issue updates that matter to you, with an in-app inbox to catch up later.
Location with limits
Hands-free updates are optional and limited to assigned from-location ride windows. Detection happens on the device; KidPool does not keep a continuous route history.
KidPool is a coordination tool. It helps trusted families organize who is driving, but it does not screen drivers or provide transportation services. Parents and guardians remain responsible for choosing their pool members and for their children's safety during every ride.
When hands-free rides are enabled, the adult's phone uses time-bounded location regions for an assigned from-location ride. Leaving the pickup location prompts the driver to start the ride; once in progress, home arrivals can record drop-offs. KidPool receives ride and drop-off status updates, not a continuous location trail, and the feature can be turned off in Settings.
